We look forward to working with you!!!
Every day, you work hard for your children, providing love, support, basic necessities, encouragement, and moral guidance. Yet on weekdays, they spend much more time at school than with you. What are you doing to enrich that school time?

At AHS, parents help determine what text books are used. We volunteer to free up teacher time for critical tasks. We help decide what achievements are rewarded, and then we plan programs to reward students. We make sure new students are supported, and we promote healthy choices in students. Parents have a huge role in decisions and programs that affect students. Do you have a voice in this?

If every parent gave three hours of time each semester to parent volunteering for AHS, we would have over 5,000 hours of advocacy and support each semester. That's a lot of influence to make sure all students are successful!

The AHS PTSA is asking each parent to pledge three hours each semester for volunteering. Every enn is full of in-school and at-home opportunities to make a difference. There is truly something for everybody. Please choose one or more. Sure, "someone else" can do it, but effective parents want to shape the future.
